'Trico’ side table
Just the right height for the end of a sofa, and the perfect size for a well-thumbed book and mug of something tasty, the Tricork side table features a laminated cork base with brass rods supporting a circular solid Lacewood top.
Trico\ˈtree-ko’\ noun
A cork-crafted Tricorn: ‘having three horns or hornlike projections; three-cornered.’
Drawing on a similar design language to the popular ‘Hubble’ table, the Trico introduces a different pallette of materials, most prominent being the curve-laminated tricorn cork base.
In this example, solid brass rods support a circular solid London plane wood top, the underside of which has been oxidised with acetic acid stain to provide an interesting contrast between the delicately intricate lacewood figuring of the top surface and the golden tones of the brass.
