A low coffee table made from two short slabs of English walnut book-matched diagonally to create an unusual grain pattern. The combination of the swirling grain, flamed figure, sapwood ripple and raw edge features provides plenty to draw the eye.
The client was restyling their London penthouse apartment and had asked for a blend of waney live-edge features and crisper, more contemporary elements, to introduce a softer and more natural feature to the modern apartment.
